This video handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just right before Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar will provide you with a number of 3 taming rods, every one is different and lets you tame beasts in the following order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.

Once you've completed the taming Component of the Quest chain, you need to head to Orgrimmar try here and talk to Ormak Grimshot inside the Valley of Honor in order to unlock your pet managing capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.

Ultimately, remember to go to the Pet Trainer and grab the Pet skills that you must give to your pet.
